Chapter Summary
Chapter 1: Rainbow of Hope -
On February 2, 1974, Shin'ichi Yamamoto and his wife, Mineko, traveled to Okinawa. Shin'ichi was determined to put various plans in motion, setting forth guidelines for the future and igniting a flame of inspiration in the heart of each member in Okinawa that would spur them to dynamic growth. A beautiful rainbow spanned the blue sky above Miyakojima Island just as the airplane was arriving.
Chapter 2: Song of Triumph -
Departing Japan on March 7, 1974, Shin'ichi had been scheduled to visit the United States, Brazil and Peru but he was not able to obtain a visa to Brazil. The Brazilian authorities were under the illusion that the Soka Gakkai was a political organization masquerading as a religion. They mistakenly regarded it as a dangerous movement with an agenda to disrupt Brazilian society. He traveled for the first time to Panama and then to Peru.
Chapter 3: Sunlight -
On March 28, 1974, at four in the afternoon, Shin'ichi Yamamoto and his group departed from Lima bound for Los Angeles arriving, at the Malibu Training Center.
